The ancient City of Benin in Edo State, Nigeria has been gripped by excitement unleashed by mass rallies of happy singing and shouting throngs.
‘This city will not sleep’, says a senior pastor. ‘We will keep it awake’. The General Superintendent, Pastor W.F.Kumuyi, is holding a two-day power encounter liberation crusade in the city on May 31st – June1st, 2015; and the churches want all the people to attend. The Crusade is expected to be unprecedented in attendance and moves of the Holy Spirit; Dr. Kumuyi believes the crusade will produce remarkable results that will help change the face of Christianity in the state.
All Christian churches registered as members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) are being rallied to endorse the programme and lend support. The crusade, however, is funded by Deeper Life.
Deeper Life are not sparing any effort to ensure that the crusade is well attended and remarkably productive.
Holding at the famous and accessible UBTH play ground, the crusade is expected to attract more than one million people seeking divine interventions. To facilitate attendance, transportation has been arranged and will be offered free.
Promotional adverts of the crusade already are on the air and in social media where they have begun to generate profuse reactions.
The crusade begins on Sunday 31st May at 5:00PM; and continues next day 6AM.
